Medium-caliber ammunition production

The following activities are expected to begin upon completion of the authorization procedures and the construction of the necessary systems.

Trinitrotoluene (TNT) filling of the 155mm bullets will be carried out.

The shells, already supplied with the inner bitumen layer, are filled partly with melted TNT and partly with solid TNT in flakes.

Ammunition

A crucible, heated by hot water from special boilers, dissolves the TNT which, once melted, will be poured into the preheated shells.

The bullet is finally weighed and, after thorough cleaning, packed in special calastere of 8 pieces each, in order to be sent to the painting department.
